1. Geographical location

Xinduqiao is the fork of the Sichuan-Tibet North-South Line. It leads to Tagong and Danba in the north, Gongga Mountain in the south, Litang in the west, and Daocheng Aden—Shangri-La in the south. It is a must-pass for G318 on the Sichuan-Tibet South Line. It is 400 kilometers away from Chengdu and 80 kilometers from Luli Kangding City.
