Siguniang Mountain is located in Xiaojin County, Aba Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province, with its specific location in Siguniangshan Town, Xiaojin County.

It is located in the Qionglai Mountain Range of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, and Si Girl Mountain is adjacent to Wolong National Nature Reserve. It is located in the transition zone from the Sichuan Basin to the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau. It belongs to the tectonic eroded high mountain area of Qionglai Mountain in the Minshan Mountains. It has developed modern glacial, ancient glacial ice erosion and accumulation landforms, flowing water erosion and accumulation landforms. The main peak of Si Girl Mountain is 6250 meters above sea level, which is the highest peak of the Qionglai Mountain Range, as well as the second highest peak in Sichuan and the third highest peak in Hengduan Mountain Range.

- Shuangqiao Valley: Shuangqiao Valley is the westernmost valley of Siguniang Mountain, stretching over 40 kilometers in length with an area of approximately 216.6 square kilometers. The valley boasts rich natural landscapes, including Ren Shen Guo Ping (Ginseng Fruit Meadow), Longzhu Co (Longzhu Lake), Wushi Shan (Five-Colored Mountain), Nanyu Ba (Fish-Chasing Dam), Riyue Baojing (Sun-Moon Treasure Mirror), Hunter Peak, Eagle’s Beak Rock, and the Redwood Forest Glacier.
- Changping Valley: Located in the central part of the Siguniang Mountain scenic area, Changping Valley stretches 29 kilometers with an area of about 100 square kilometers. It features 21 scenic spots including Lama Temple, Kushutan, Jiaorongdu Waterfall, Muluozi, Pomiao Peak, and Camel Peak. Changping Valley serves as the primary base camp for climbing Mount Siguniang and Yaomei Peak.
- Haizi Valley: Spanning 19 kilometers, Haizi Valley remains the least developed of Siguniang Mountain’s three valleys. Visitors must hike or ride horses throughout the entire route. The valley’s front section features alpine meadows, while the rear section centers around mountain lakes, making it a paradise for outdoor enthusiasts.

4. Precautions for Touring
(1) Safety protection: responding to geological and weather characteristics
1. Shuangqiao Valley is about 3000-4000 meters above sea level, so don’t be too nervous. There is an infirmary at Hongshulin Station. Avoid strenuous exercise when you arrive.
2. The temperature in Shuangqiaogou is low, so you need to bring a coat even in summer. It may rain, raincoats or umbrellas can also be prepared.
3. Plateau has strong ultraviolet rays, pay attention to sun protection, bring sunscreen, sunglasses and hat.
4. There are dining spots in the ditch, but it is recommended to bring your own snacks and water. Also try local Tibetan delicacies such as butter tea and barley cakes.
5. Outfit: You can prepare a skirt for taking pictures. White is very recommended. Put on your coat as soon as you finish the photo.

- Shuangqiaogou: The most well-developed, and you can take a sightseeing bus for a dip in the whole process! The recommended tour time is 4-6 hours. It is the first choice for most tourists. The scenery is rich and diverse, and it is easy to play. The sightseeing bus will take you deep into the ditch. You can walk or take a car between each stop. It is suitable for all ages!
2. Changpinggou: Semi-developed state, the best choice for hiking or horse riding adventures! The recommended tour time is 4-5 hours. After the sightseeing bus is taken to the Lama Temple, you can only walk or ride! But the ancient trees, snow-capped mountains, grasslands and rivers here will definitely make you hooked!
