Day 1｜Arrived in Enshi· First Acquaintance with Tujia Fireworks
After arriving, check in at the hotel, take a break, and start a time to roam the city.
The kindness of the night is a feast on the tip of the tongue.
Two must-try classics：
- Zhang Guanhe Slag: Rich bean flavor, dense and fresh fragrance, the soul of Tujia home cooking；
- Cured fish and bacon: smoked and slow-drying, salty and fragrant to the bone, and return to the mountain family in one bite.
At the food stalls in the streets and alleys, Kang potatoes, Youxianger, and bean skins are also worth checking in one by one, so that the taste buds will precede the footsteps and fall in love with the city.
Day 2｜Enshi Grand Canyon *Epic on the Cliffs
The Enshi Grand Canyon, known as ‘comparable to Colorado”, is the highlight of this trip.
In the morning, visit [Qixing Village Scenic Area] and step on the cliff plank road hanging from a 100-meter cliff. The abyss under your feet is vast, and the peaks and forests in front of you are like swords. During the walk, thrills and magnificence coexist.
In the afternoon, I walked into the [Yunlong River Crevice], the canyon was deep, there were groups of waterfalls, and the water mist was like a wonderland.
Step by step, they are all the ingenuity of nature.
Day 3｜ Great Qing River Cruise · Jiangshang Gallery Tour
Take a boat tour of the [Daqingjiang Scenic Area] and watch the clear water winding between the mountains, with wonders on both sides of the river emerging one after another.：
- Safflower flowing stoneforest: strange rocks are jagged, like sculptures standing in groups；
- Thousand Falls Gorge: Cascading Waterfalls like Bai Lian Hanging Down；
- Butterfly Rock: A huge boulder with wings spread out and standing on the banks of the river, it is an iconic landscape of the Qingjiang River.
Along the way, there are also attractions such as Rainbow Bridge, Smiling Sleeping Buddha, Qingjiang murals, etc., which can be turned into wallpaper with a single shot.
Day 4 ｜ Sobuya Stone Forest × Enshi Daughter City
In the morning, I walked into the [Sobuya Stone Forest], which is densely vegetated and is known as the ”Dai Guan Stone Forest’.
Shuttling between mushroom stones, a line of sky, and the ancient riverbed, it is as if stepping into a green maze, cool and quiet, step by step wonders.
In the afternoon, I transferred to [Enshi Daughter City], a folk culture city built in antique style, which condenses all the poetry of Tujia life.：
- Wear Tujia costumes to take pictures and check in；
- Pintujia sauce Fragrant Cake, Hop Residue Powder, Kang Potatoes；
- There are oftenhand-waving dance performances in the evening, with melodious drums and brightly lit lights, which are extremely lively.
It is recommended to stay in a style inn and feel the night of Tujia in an immersive way.
Day 5｜The valley of the Heart of the earth·Towards the depths of the earth
At the last stop, visit the ”oldest scar on Earth’-[Valley of the Heart of the Earth].
Go down alongthe Bachu AncientRoad, through the deep canyon, accompanied by clear streams, the cliffs are like knives and axes, the vegetation is verdant, and the air is refreshing.
There is the Yuntou River, known as the “No. 1 ancient river in China”, as well as the remains of hanging coffins and plank roads for thousands of years. History and nature blend here.
